I shot this photo at a classic car dealership in The Netherlands. My initial plan was to shoot another car. And I did, but afterwards I had to shoot this Porsche GT3. A classic and iconic design.Time
This was shot indoors during the day I guess around 14:00 in the afternoon.Lighting
I shot this photo using the FDL Technique (focused diffused lighting) I used a standard speedlight through a beautydish with diffuser. Next to the beautydish I also use a standard diffuser panel to diffuse the light even more. By using a very fast shutterspeed I can create this dark background. The light on the car is basically the reflection of my diffuser panel. It is a multiple exposure shot combined in Photoshop.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D850 with a 50mm lens - Tripod - Speedlight - Flash tranceiver - Diffuser panel - Beautydish - remote triggerInspiration
I love cars and their design. Some cars have epic designs. I am using the FDL Technique for a couple of years now and I really love it. You can really show the design with this technique. Curves, edges, materials, shadows, and reflections can be balanced out to create these works of art.Editing
I take multiple exposures and combine them in Photoshop. In my camera bag

It takes some practice. Try, fail, try again and win!
