Photo was a chance shot taken on the side of the road in Omak, WATime
This was actually a little later in the day, not too long after a sudden downpourLighting
Im always looking for shots during the Golden hour because there's no better lighting than Mother nature during this special timeEquipment
I only had my cell phone with me for this shot. Always make sure, when deciding on a new phone, that it has a quality camera, for just this reason.Inspiration
It was hot and muggy (from recent downpour) when I pulled over here to visit a friend briefly. But when I came back out to get in my truck, I was surprised by the sudden change in my view, I scrambled for my phones camera before it disappearedEditing
This was taken several years ago and although I still remember the moment vividly, I have nothing special to remind me of any post processing. So, I can't swear to it, but I believe this was just as beautiful as the real thing and there was nothing to enhance. It was jaw dropping beautiful and showed it just as well on my screen from what I rememberIn my camera bag
These days I'm starting over trying to replace my bag and its contents so, Im undecided on my final choice for new camera but I'm thinking on trying a Nikon this time, but, I may go back to my original Canon line of products. They have great zoom lenses that I really miss.Feedback
Pay attention after heavy rains. If the sun looks to be coming out soon, be prepared with your camera near by. If the rainbow comes near you like this did me, it won't last long before it fades and disappears.
