Location
This is photo is a composite of three photos. I took the main photo at a fishing pier and later that night took a photo of the moon. I had a photo from earlier that week with some stars I captured.Time
The pier photo was actually taken in daylight around 3p.m. The moon and stars obviously at night. Around 11p.m.Lighting
I guess lighting didn't matter because I changed day to night.Equipment
I used an 18-55mm for the pier. And used a 50-250mm and tripod for the night shots.Inspiration
I love the lines of the pier. I like the depth of field it shows and I like having a cool an even pattern.Editing
I was very new teaching myself so I used Lightroom as always. Then I wanted to play around with Photoshop. Lastly I put it through PS Express to see what filters gave me the look I wanted. I usually change it a little. I find it easier to see how the filters make it look and then like to make it my own.In my camera bag
I only had stock in the beginning. Canon rebel t6i, the two lenses it came with and a tripod I purchased. I have some filters and two new lenses now. Along with two more tripods.Feedback
If you're enjoying what you're doing than keep at it. Play around. Test your creativity. Editing helps calm me like reading a book at bedtime. I woke up the next day and realized I fell asleep making the most popular photo of mine to date!
