This is the only way I would ever want to see one these big boys in the water, on film.Very nice image. Nice and sharp and full of detail.I think the black and white adds a sense of awe to the image.

Even in the picture ...it is SCARY. GREAT CAPTURE! Pictures are supposed to tell a story. Story told. VERY NICE

this photo was taken of the island of Guadalupe Mexico, taken from inside a cage, as I am just not brave enough to get in water with great whitesTime
This was taken after about 5 hours of time in the cage, I was starting to get cold as water Temp was 18c (66F) but I didn't want to give up as only so many days on the trip. I was finally rewarded and I got on coming in with out all the bait fish in the way, Taken at 3:23 on November 11, 2018Lighting
I was shallow enough that I was using the sun light to cause the sun beams coming across the back of the sharkEquipment
Olympus EM1, Olympus M 14-42mm F3-5.6 lens, olympus housing and strobesInspiration
I love the ocean and have been working on it in some form for 20 plus years, and I have always wanted to cage dive with great whites, I know what I wanted for a photo going in, I got this and was extremely happy with it and just means I have to go back and go again to get the one I have pictured in my headEditing
yes there was a lot of back scatter to remove from the strobes, and sun spots, Dropped the exposure down and then contrast up then used gradual filter to correct the sun raysIn my camera bag
my underwater, Olympus EM1, Olympus M 14-42mm F3-5.6 lens, olympus 7-14 mm wide angle, olympus housing and Inon D200 Strobes, Kraken Arms and Bars, which is currently being replace and upgraded, to use my Nikon Z7 and get a new housing and strobesFeedback
wear a thick wet suit, I had on a 3 mm and wasn't enough. Log as much time in the cage as you possibly can, I did 22 hours out of 34 hours it was open
