Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken on a walk in the Yorkshire Dale's as being a hobbyist photographer means most of my subjects are local or landscapes and architecture from a holiday.

Time

This was taken around midday if I recall correctly so it was bright and naturally lit.

Lighting

As there was only natural lighting I feel like it gives a more realistic feel and look as there is no processing to be done.

Equipment

This was shot using my Nikon D750 Aperture 80/10 iso100 Shutter 10/5000 on a 50mm Nikon F2.8d

Inspiration

My inspiration for this photo was just the singular beauty of the solitary tree in its natural surroundings.

Editing

I never post process except for any minor tweak to lighten a shot if I think it needs it.

In my camera bag

I am a creature of habit so 99% of the time I use my Nikon D750 with a Nikon 35-70mm f2.8d unless there is low light when I switch to my Nikon 35mm f2d

Feedback

The only advice I can give for getting these types of shot is to keep looking, keep travelling and keep shooting everything that appeals to you as a photographer; you will know what appeals to you and its for your own personal pleasure as well as anyone else with the same vision.
