Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken during a road-trip myself and my wife undertook. It was on a very off the beaten track somewhere between Stanford and Malgas in the Western Cape, South Africa . I am a self taught photographer, who would absolutely love to do it for a living.Time
The photo was taken sometime befor mid-day, just after some rain.Lighting
The canola fields afar, with the small farm reservoir dam, filled by the "windpump" and rain, including the lone tree forming a frame of sorts was the best of three similar photos.Equipment
My very old and second hand Canon SD50, which I enjoy very much.Inspiration
The contrast with the mountains in the haze ss background looked great and forced me to stop.Editing
Only some cropping to get rid of noise. In my camera bag
Spare battery, 32mm and 60mm lensFeedback
Try to have as little noise as possible and try to capture what you see with your eyes.
