Location

This was taken in Monteverde, Costa Rica in a recreational area.. We were there for the day to see birds and wild life. We came upon this meadow that had an abundance of hummingbirds of all types.

Time

It was probably early afternoon by the time we found this area. Sun was not at its highest but still plenty of light

Lighting

It was probably earlt afternoon when we came across this meadow. Sun was not at its peak but still plenty of natural lighting.

Equipment

I have a Nikon D3300. I used a 70-300MM lens. No tripod.

Inspiration

I love Hummingbirds and we had spent the day searching for them in a natural setting (no feeders). This meadow was teeming with the a huge variety of them. The bird with the purple flowers caught my eye.

Editing

I do not post-process. What you see is what I saw.

In my camera bag

have a Nikon D 3300 with two lenses 18-55mm and 70-300mm.
