Wow! That's so crazy. I literally just painted this picture from an old YouTube tutorial for Procreate!

Location
This photo was taken spring 7th Oct 2016 early one morning, Subject is the Wanaka Tree which is rated one of the most photographed trees ion the world, unfortunately since then some vandals took to the tree and the bottom branch was cut of. Camera used was Fuji XT2 10 24 lens on a tripod, I also had on a 10 stopper filer with about a 4 sec exposure. Some morning and evenings up to 200 photographers can be here taking photographs, so you have to wait to get right spot etc.Time
This was a early morning shot, I arrived pre dawn and set up tripod and just kept taking photos and from thatthis image arrived, it is cropped with part of the left side removed to give this composition, I have shot this tree serveral times now morning and night and this would have to be my best.Lighting
I was lucky with the morning light on the tree and and the distance mountains which to me just gives the image the extra life. While to tree is not now what it was, its still worth making the effort to photograph it, strongly recommend early morning or evening.Equipment
Fuji XT2 and 10 24 lens. tripod mounted.Inspiration
Having seen and heard about this tree, I had to make the effort when in the South Island of New Zealand to photograph the tree.Editing
I use lightroom and just the usual adjustments plus cropping from the left.In my camera bag
AT this stage I was a Fuji user, but now Sony A7riv and A9ii and working toward prime lens only apart from my 100 400 GM.Feedback
Make the effort to go to Wanaka in the South Island of New Zealand, and Wanaka is just part of the wonderful lower South Island on NZ one of the worlds most spectacular part of the world, Explore the Mt Aspiring National Partand Fiordland National Parks.
