I took this during a cold rainy holiday in Ireland. I had my gloves on, and my beanie, and had to keep removing them to set up my tripod. I used a grey filter to slow down the action to get this dreamy feeling. It was great fun, and I took tons of photos experimenting with which stones to leave in, and out, where the centre of the photo should be, how much water in the front, and so on.Time
It was midday in the middle of winter, no sun, just after a particularly rainy season.Lighting
I used a grey filter to be able to slow down the speed.Equipment
tripod, grey filter, canon camera.Inspiration
I like experimenting on flowing water with the grey filter in low-light situations.Editing
Not much, perhaps a bit of contrast and I might have tweaked the frame somewhat. In my camera bag
I normally have a grey filter, a telephoto lens and I try and take a tripod.Feedback
experiment with aperture and speed, try out a grey filter, use a tripod to take running water, can be amazing.
