Location
This photo was taken from the top of the cliff in Nazare, Portugal. I really like how this photo almost looks like macro, until you see a man walking down the sandy beach and some car tracks. To me, the photo shows how small we are compared to nature...Time
It was an afternoon in the middle of winter.Lighting
I enjoy taking photos of landscapes and simply using natural light. I think the sun was just at the right spot for this photo.Equipment
This was shot with Canon EOS 60D.Inspiration
I absolutely love the ocean and the power of water, so when I stood up there on top of the cliff, above the Atlantic ocean, I just felt overwhelmed. Only a few days earlier it was my first time seeing the Atlantic ocean, so observing it from so high up was absolutely spectacular to me and I wanted to capture that feeling.Editing
I only added some more contrast and a little bit of vibrance to make it a bit more dramatic. In my camera bag
I mostly take photos while I'm traveling and I like to travel light. I usually only carry one camera with a zoom lens.Feedback
Find a spot that gives you some special feeling, a place that feels spectacular and amazing on its own. I believe that when you feel overwhelmed by a place, it's easy to capture an amazing photo.
