Location
This was taken at Warwick Castle. Usually the grounds are not open to the public at night but I joined my friend on one of the events that are sometimes held there at night. A great opportunity to have a look around even in some rooms of the castle in a way that most people don't get to experience this fantastic place. Great experience. I was also only starting out with photography and trying out long exposure shots.Time
According to the time stamp around half past 8 in the evening.Lighting
There was enough light from the castle itself and I particularly like the full moon.Equipment
Canon 700D. 18-200mm Tamron lens. I had to put the camera on the ground to get a long exposure as I couldn't bring a tripod into the event.Inspiration
Even though it's a great tourist attraction, I doubt a lot of people have seen Warwick Castle in this light and I love the atmosphere it creates.Editing
Only very basic processing in Lightroom. In my camera bag
Canon 700D and lens depending on what I am planning, I never want to carry around too much. Tripods usually get in the way, although in this case it would have been very helpful. Spare batteries and memory cards.Feedback
Possibly to check out your local landmarks and if you want to do a night shoot, what kind of access you have and what kind of lighting there is.
