This was taken during a photography workshop and for me it was the highlight of the day. I was lucky enough to capture this amazing moment when the little mouse was just sort of hanging in between the two plants.

The photo was taken during a photography workshop on a farm in Wychbold near Droitwich. They have some bird hides, pole cats and also brought out two very cute harvest mice on the day of the shoot. I am a self-taught photographer so this was a great opportunity for me to learn something new.Time
This was some time after lunch. We’d just waited for a while for some birds in the hide that didn’t decide to turn up but these harvest mice more than made up for it.Lighting
This was all natural light.Equipment
Canon 700D, Tamron 55-200 Macro f4.5 lens. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I’ve always been interested in shooting animals (with my camera) and this workshop gave me a perfect opportunity.Editing
Just a little touch up in Lightroom. Highlights, sharpness, shadows, noise reduction. In my camera bag
I don’t have all that much equipment yet but I try most times to have my great lightweight tripod from Dörr with me. My Canon 700D and a 18-200 mm lens because it is quite versatile. I also like my 70-300 mm Canon lens and my 24 mm pancake lens, the 24 mm especially if I want to travel light. Recently, I have started using a lensbaby so I might pack that one as well. If I shoot landscapes my 10-18 mm lens.Feedback
A photography workshop might work for you as well, especially if, like me, you’re trying to gain some experience.
