Location
This photo was shot at Uttakleiv beach, Lofoten, Norway during a trip with my local photo club to Northern Norway.Time
The photo was shot in the afternoon at sunset which of course is the time to expect the best conditions to capture a good photography.Lighting
As there was still light I decided to use Lee Big Stopper in order to flatten the sea by long exposure.Equipment
My setup was Canon EOS 5D mk. III with Lee Big Stopper on a Manfrotto tripod.Inspiration
The wild northern Norwegian nature weather changing by the minute gives endless opportunities. This location and many others in Lofoten should be on all photographers bucket list.Editing
The image was of course shot in raw format an has been adjusted in Lightroom. In my camera bag
For locations like this a wide angle lens is a must. As the weather is rough the front lens/filter is receiving sea spray an wipes must be ready for keeping the glass clean.Feedback
First of all: Visit Lofoten. If the light looks bad, be patient. In five minutes it might be perfect. Survey the location for good spots and angles and do some trial shots.
