Nice leading lines :) I was going to leave Magnificent Capture but my mouse went off the awards and when that happens you can't go back and change it.

Location
This photo was taken in the beautiful Island Garden City of Samal in the Philippines. We were having an after work party on the nearby house just behind this photo.Time
I always brought my gear with me especially when we are out of town, this was taken in the afternoon around 5 o'clock. the sun was just beyond the horizon and i had to frame the shot by moving left and right just to have it aligned with the boardwalk, but to no avail it wasn't a perfect alignment.Lighting
It was an almost overcast sunset but the sun had a few minutes of window when it was about to set, and i was just at the right spot at the right time.Equipment
I shot this with a Nikon D5200 on a 11-16mm Tokina Aspherical Lens, with a Benro Travel Angel Tripod, A 6 Stop ND and a .9 GND for my filters.Inspiration
I always loved to take sunrise and sunset photos, and along with my job which i have to travel a lot, i always keep it in my head that i have to bring my gear with me for those surprise wonderful lighting.Editing
I shot it in raw, and i just had to bring about the shadows on my foreground, added a little saturation and contrast to add drama, i tweaked the warmth a bit just to give the golden sunset a boost. In my camera bag
Just my set, a trustworthy tripod, filters (3 and 6 stops, a .9GND, and a CPL) and a wide lens and camera.Feedback
Its never a one time thing, you have to keep coming back to the same location, shooting the same scene, one day you will be on that same spot and be blessed by a great lighting. so patience is greatest key to landscape photography and discipline! Keep the fire burning.
