I took this picture at Cap Tourmante in quebec (canada)Time
It was late on afternoonLighting
Light came from the right side and created lot of shadows on the bird but nothing that photoshop can't fix.Equipment
I had a nikon d800 and a sigma 150-500Inspiration
It was the first time that i saw a great gray owl and all my idea was to came with just one good pic.Editing
It was hard to recover all the details in the shadow but i think i've done a good job on this one.In my camera bag
Nikon d800 and Nikon d610. A 500mmF/4 and a 70-200 for closer shots.Feedback
Stay calm and don't try to get near to fast. Even if you shoot from far you cant do a great image.
