Everyone got doggles for Canada Day. I love how much my girl in the middle is rockin' the look.

Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo in our neighbour's driveway.Time
This was taken on a warm July evening in 2015.Lighting
It was a very bright afternoon and it tricky to keep the sun from glinting off the car bumper just behind them.Equipment
I used a Canon EOS Rebel with a lovely Sigma lens 50-200) No flash and hand-held.Inspiration
Our neighbourhood is filled with animal lovers. We usually learn each other's dog's names first. There are a few of us with an interest in photography and we are known to take shots of all the fur kids in our area. It was the early evening and our neighbour had just brought his new convertible home. The neighbour's dog "Jack" is on the right. I thought Jack should have some cool eye protection like our two Bassets (Mulligan and Bogey). It was a hound trifecta! It was tricky to get all three to leave the doggles on and sit. These three managed to manipulate me in to HUGE quantities of treats.Editing
It was over a year ago but I believe I did some cropping. I considered editing to move Jack closer but this shows more of the funny antics while trying to get the shot.In my camera bag
I have two cameras ready to roll. A Canon EOS Rebel with a Canon macro lens and a Canon 60D with a Sigma lens. Both usually have tripod bases attached and ready to roll. I did a tripod count yesterday and embarrassingly, I have 5..one for each vehicle, one for the back yard and a couple I just found while cleaning the basement....all I need now is that fast lens...Feedback
Patience, a sense of humour and lots of dog treats.
