Location

On my study window !! I love this pic and it was extremely hard to backlight and then photograph, these are my gorgeous wifes hands, the photo is of the x-ray. I am self taught and with the wealth of knowledge out there in the wide wide world

Time

mid afternoon, indirect sunlight , ensuring enough natural light to highlight but not blow it thru and hide the image

Lighting

using natural light from behind and positioning the xray in a way to avoid reflection was a little time consuming

Equipment

Canon 40D, Sigma 70-300 DG Macro lens, Benro tripod.

Inspiration

Curiosity mainly, to see if I could manage it and still maintain the "xray" image.

Editing

Other than crop the image, none

In my camera bag

Canon 50mm, Monopod, ND filter, spare memory card and battery, as well as Camera of course and a canon 28-80 lens already mounted.

Feedback

Keep trying, move the camera to a different angle each shot, ensure your image is within frame. Have fun doing it.
