Location
The Photo was taken at Cameron Highlands, Pahang is one of Malaysia's most popular tourist destinations, a collection of peaceful townships perched 1500 meters high on a nest of serene mountains.Time
i remember waking up around 5am, walk around find the nice composition. this was taken on 3 may 2015 around 7amLighting
I personally prefer shutter priority mode. set the aperture to f16, exposure bracketing +2, 0, -2. Sunrise photography takes more than just jumping out of bed earlier than usual. It also takes making your way to a perfect slot, and waiting for the sun to rise up over the horizon line.Equipment
This was shot on canon 5d mark ii with EF 16-35mm f/4l is usm on tripodInspiration
I was inspired by few famous landscape photographer like Jimmy Mcintyre & Elia Locardi's video I saw on internet and really wanted to take a shot at it myself.Editing
Yes, I did do post processing. I used Adobe Lightroom to combine 3 images to create this look via HDR. then export to adobe photoshop (luminosity mask exposure blending, contras adjustment, and lighting adjustments)In my camera bag
Canon 5d mark ii, 16-35mm, 24-105mm, 70-200mm, tripodFeedback
Plese be prepared at all times , the best way to prepare is by scouting the location a few days before the actual shoot. While there, look for foreground elements and silhouettes that will enhance the image as well as a location to setup your equipment. Just keep shooting, Practice Makes Perfect!
