Behind The Lens

This image was taken in a sunflower field in Hitchin, Herts

Time

Approx midday

Lighting

Just good light, high cloud taking the edge off the summer sun

Equipment

Trusty Nikon D700, 3.5,24-120 lens

Inspiration

I was invited by the owner of a local art gallery to shoot Lavender and Sunflower Fields nearby. The person in the red jumper was a Pro Canon Photog doing the same

Editing

I normally shoot panoramics for my landscapes, these obv need a lot of processing.. But this image was shot tight on them sunflower with photog in the back ground

In my camera bag

Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4 prime, 300mm 2.8 prime, and my trusty 24-120mm. Nikon Speedlight SB-900

Feedback

Always see the image with your eye prior to lifting the camera, shoot 2 unders, 1 normal and 2 overs especially if sky is involved
