Location
this photo was taken at the cologne zoo/aquarium.Time
I was there with my family on a rainy Sunday afternoon.. perfect day for a visit there...Lighting
the lighting was quite difficult as the aquariums were very dim lit... I used the lens wide open which also gave the nice bokeh..Equipment
this was taken with my Sony a5100 and an old sigma 90/2.8 macro lens adapted from minolta md mount... so all manual focus and aperture.. :)Inspiration
since it was winter I hadn't shot much for some time so when my wife suggested a visit to the zoo I just had to take my camera with me... I especially liked this fish for its beautiful colors...Editing
I did a little processing in lightroom to focus the attention of the viewer on the subject with some vignetting and also I pushed the colors a little more... also did some sharpening in Photoshop. In my camera bag
I normally have quite a lot of stuff in my bag to be prepared for any opportunity that comes up but on this day I "traveled light" with only my camera, the kit lens and my macro lens..Feedback
I think the Zoo and aquarium give great opportunities to try for some "wildlife" shots without having to travel far... :)
