Location
I took this photo on a little bit of lawn beside the driveway at my workplace...Time
I had just finished work and was walking to the train station when i noticed those little mushrooms on the grass... since i wasn't in a hurry i stopped to take some photos...Lighting
It was late autumn and the setting sun gave a wonderful soft, warm light..Equipment
took this with my sony a5100 and an old sigma 90/2.8 macro... it's an old manual slr lens for minolta md mount that i use with an adapter. no autofocus, or anything, everything is manual... ;)Inspiration
it was a nice autumn day, the golden hour had just started when i left work and i was looking around to see what little things i could photograph in that warm light...Editing
i adjusted the white balance to emphasize the warm feel of the setting sun and did some dodging and burning..In my camera bag
i have a whole bunch bunch of cheap manual lenses and i always carry a selection in my bag... mostly a 50mm, the 90mm macro lens and a 135mm... along with that i have the kit zoom that came with the camera...Feedback
always look around and take notice of the small things around you... especially in macro you can often find the best photos where you least expect it... the side of the road, a traffic circle or like this one on alittle patch of lawn beside some parking spaces in the driveway at my workplace... ;)
