What a stunning photo! It's almost saying "What's around this curve?" I so like the colors, browns and greens...subtle lighting. It's a favorite!

I am with everyone else. I love the mood of this shot. It is almost scary and I fear what is around the corner. I imagine this as something like mirkwood forest in Lord of the Rings. When I first saw it I thought it needed to be lightened but I wouldn't change it for the world. It makes the mood.

I was out for the day trekking in this forest. When I came across this path with a mysterious curve I decided it was the moment to take my camera out of the backpack and make a memorable picture of my outing.Editing
I increased saturation a bit because the natural color of the green foliage looked witheredIn my camera bag
It depends on my photo session schedule. I always carry my Canon EOS 5d Mark II body with one or two L lenses. If I am planning to shoot macro I will just add my Canon 100mm F 2.8 Macro and no other lens. If I only need to do sports photogaphy I will only add a Canon 100-400mm L IS USM and a Canon EF 24-70mm L USM II . I also own a Canon EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM which I mostly use for architecture and landscape shots. Not always but I also add my Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT Flash, specially when I am going to do portrait or interior photography.Feedback
Yes, never forget to carry your camera with you wherever. You never know when the right stuff for a great picture unfolds before your eyes.
