Location
Took this photos whilst walking around Urquart Castle in Scoland. The Robin was following my husband and myself around singing his heart out. He was not affraid as I took a few photos of him.Time
this photo was taken around 12.18.Lighting
the day was generally a sunny day and fairly warm for the beginning of October.Equipment
Camera: SLT-A77V Aperture: f/6.3 ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/100 no flash was used. no tripod was used.Inspiration
I love to take photos of wildlife, flora and fauna, and some landscapes, so this was an enjoyable photo to capture.Editing
I croped the picture to bring the subject into better position, and altred the contrast slightly. Choosing this image from the several I took was an easy task as I think it portrays the subject nicely. In my camera bag
Sony A77 with 2.8/16-50lens and 4.5-5.6/75-300 len, and my Canon GX1, the canon i use for ease of use in tight spaces.Feedback
other than being at the right place at the right time, i tend to walk at a snails pace in the forest etc and study all that is around me. patience is the key, and having your camera set up ready for the type of shot you want to take. I generally decide the type of photography i am going to do before i leave the house. so when i see my subject im not loosing the oppertunity by having to set up the camera on location.
