It was getting close to 7pm so not long after sunset as you can see in the colours of raise of sun.Lighting
because it was late in the day light was fading there was soft colours mix in with powerful colours like the purple in the water.Equipment
canon 600d with the 18-55mm kit lens. Also I used a wireless remote to capture the shot without touching the camera.Inspiration
I loved see long exposure shots with water and I like sunset shots so this was my attempt to combined the two together. Also the fire smore swiping across the horizon.Editing
Yes just simply enhancing of the tones on camera raw, making sure the white balance was right, bringing out highlights and colours to give it more vivid clarity. But it still very close to the original photo, I don't like over doing editing otherwise it can like unrealistic, but I do think the camera lies so we need to set the photo as close to how your eye sees it.In my camera bag
Spare Sd cards, a cloth, a torch, wireless remote, tri pod which doesn't fit in my bag. And of course a camera and len, with a fully charged battery.Feedback
Use live more and zoom in to adjust focus. Always use manual more. Depending on light use around f11 and 20secs to 30sec exposure 100iso and play around with angles and focal length and positions. Play around with settings and press the shutter button as often as you can.
