Location
This was taken at Gallup Park, Ann Arbor, MI one winter. I wasn't looking to take any wildlife shots but if you keep your eyes and your mind open you can sometimes find a good unexpected shot or two.Time
It was probably taken around 10AMLighting
All natural lighting.Equipment
Canon T3i and EFS 18-135mm lens. Hand held.Inspiration
I was just walking along and saw him sitting there, getting blown about by the wind. It kind of emphasized the harshness winter to me and I was able to get one shot in before he ran off.Editing
Only PP was in LR. Just a little adjustment to whites, blacks, highlights, shadows, contrast and a touch of sharpening. In my camera bag
T3i, EF-100mm Macro, EFS-18-135mm, CPL and ND filters, Manfroto Pixi, spare battery, spare memory card, remote, travel size spray bottle.Feedback
Keep your eyes open and be open to any shot that presents itself, even if it's not what you were looking for.
