Location
This was taken outside of my house.Time
About mid morning.Lighting
I think it was overcast, natural lighting.Equipment
Camera 60D, lens EFS 55-250, f4-5.6.Inspiration
The Rainbow Lorikeets are always good subjects. I am lucky as my street has plenty of Paperbark trees. When they are on flower there are always Lorekeets feeding in them.Editing
Not much post, a bit of a crop for composition. It was awhile ago that it took this so I can't remember how much I shadow or highlight I use before converting from RAW to JPEG.In my camera bag
Camera 50D. Usually Tamrom 17-50mm f2.8 and 24-70mm f2.8. Depends where I am shooting. I usually take 1 600EX-RT Speedlite. I have 3 speedlites and will take all 3 if I think I will be using a lot of flash photography as the can over heat with continuous use. Easier to change speedlites rather than waiting for them to cool down. I will take my 55-250mm if I am shooting outdoor music festivals. I have a 50mm EF f2.5 compact macro that is good for portraits as well as close ups and EF Life Size Converter that is a 1to1 image. .Feedback
Wild life photography, telephoto lens and a lot of patience.
