Canon 60D, 17-50mm f2.8, 24-70mm f2.8, 50mm Compact Macro, 55-250mm f4 -5.6, 600 EX-RT speedlite (I have 3, sometime I carry all 3) .Feedback
Shooting concerts, you have to be observant. If you know the band performing , is an advantage.,Usually you are only allowed to shoot the first 3 songs. I try to get a selection of photos of each member of the band. Sometime this is not possible due to stage position, bad lighting and other band members in the way. I Use a fast lens. I mostly use my 17-50mm as I can capture full length body shoots. and zoom in to get head shots. Occasionally I my 24_70mm to zoom in to people at the back of the stage. Basically you are at the mercy of the person on the light desk.
