Nice capture, the Eagle gets a bit lost in that rock, maybe you can try bringing him out somehow.

LOVE it! I have gone on multiple excursions looking for Bald Eagles - no luck! But I live in Central California! I guess I need to head north! I saw your others, just wonderful!

Location
This photo was taken on the west coast of Vancouver in the Clayquot Sound.Time
It was taken at about 2 in the afternoonLighting
Keep the sun to your back! ( Usually )Equipment
It was taken with a Nikon D90 and a 70 to 300 lens. I was in a small boat and standing.Inspiration
The photo is of an Eagle we named Chuck. The nest is just a few hundred feet from where I worked. We called the female Di.Editing
I try to do as little post processing as possible. In my camera bag
I always carry my camera, with two lens. An 18 to 105 and the 70 to 300.Feedback
The only advice I have is to ALWAYS carry a camera. Wow moments are never planned and usually the best shots.
