Congrats on winning my One With Nature photo Challenge. Love the way you captured the scenery and the sweet companion you had to complete the shot!

Location
The photo was taken in Utah at a state park. Some of the most breath taking scenery you will find.Time
The image was captured in the morning light. Early or late the sun low in the sky gives me the shadows I need to give the photo depth.Lighting
Mother nature provided my lighting on this one.Equipment
Canon 7D Canon, 24mm-70mm, 2.8Inspiration
The companionship between a dog and the owner is a strong bond. I know this because on this epic cross country trip we brought our pooch Roy. He was such a joy to have with us. I felt this man and his dog was a strong image. One looking out over the canyon pondering life, the other having his back at all times.Editing
I used lightroom to adjust and a touch of Topez filter to give it a little boost. In my camera bag
2 Canon 7D 24-70mm and 70-200mm both 2.8 along with a AD200 Godox a tripod. I get a ton of use out of my Sony 6000 as well.Feedback
Luck is a nice thing to have when shooting. I was lucky to come upon the dog facing the way he was. Lighting is what gives your image depth. Shoot when the sun is low in the sky, morning or evening. Good luck have fun and shoot more, more images more often,
