Behind The Lens

Location

Road to Laguna Esmeralda, 30km from Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. Treking of 3 hours approx between forests and peatlands. The mountain with ice in the background of the photo is the "Albino eye" Glacier. Beavers are a plague in Tierra del Fuego. Here is a huge beaver house.

Time

I estimate that we started the walk at 10 am so this photo was taken at about 11 am

Lighting

Always output in manual and choose white balance

Equipment

canon SX130, only

Inspiration

The background of the photo is the end of the trek. This beaver house forcing us to detour shocked me

Editing

Lightroom. Highlights, contrast, definition

In my camera bag

Canon 700d 55-250 canon, 100Youngnuo, 10-18 canon, tripod, flash, filters ND, IR

Feedback

After finding a motif, Find the accompanying background. Always take raw
