The shot was taken using my Nikon D800, 16-35mm ISO 640 on my Manfrotto 190 Carbon fibre tripod with remote shutter leadInspiration
I had seen quite a few beautiful photos on Flickr, Viewbug, you pic and Facebook and wanted to try something myself. I have lived near Norwich all my life but had never really spent anytime near Mousehold heath. I set out one afternoon with the intention of using my new 16-35mm F4 lensEditing
Yes, I cropped the photo and used some small adjustments in Lightroom but the photo hasn't been adjusted too much. In most cases I like to leave my photos as they are and try to get them right in the camera. In my camera bag
I'm a carry everything kind of guy. I try to be prepared for every possible event. My bag consists of: Nikon D800 with MB-D12 grip Black rapid strap Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 Nikon 16-35mm f4.0 Nikon 50mm f1.4 Nikon 105mm f2.8 Nikon sb910 flash Manfrotto 190cx (Carbon fibre tripod with ball head) Spare batteriesFeedback
Not really, just get out there and go somewhere you've never been before try to evaluate the scene from different angles and see what you come up with. I try not to plan too much before I set out and see what I come up with whilst in the field. Having a smart phone is key for me. If I'm out on business or pleasure and see somewhere of interest i log it as a waypoint and come back later for a visit.
