Location
This photo was taken at Zion national park.Time
It was late in the day. My husband and I were headed back to the transit area and decided to take the river trail.Lighting
Since it was later in the day the lighting had become more muted which I really liked.Equipment
I was very sick for this trip. We almost canceled out vacation. So I shot thos with my phone. I usually carry a backpack full of wonderful toys, but it was all I could do to walk through the park so all my Zion shots were with my phone.Inspiration
The location was all the inspiration needed.Editing
I bumped up contrast and color in a simple phone app.In my camera bag
I use a canon rebel Xti. 200mm, 500mm, and macro lenses are my extra lenses. I carry s range of filters, extra batteries, memory cards, and tripod (which I rarely use).Feedback
Hike, hike, hike.... to get something different you need to get away from crowds when you can. It's not film... experiment!
