Location
This photo was captured at Sunset Speedway near Barrie, Ontario, Canada.Time
I believe it was taken in during the evening hours.Lighting
Bit of an overcast day and decided to go with black and white as these are vintage hot rods.Equipment
Canon 60D, Sigma 150-600 mm C lens.Inspiration
I have a great passion for Stock Car Racing, I used to race until my back issues put driving on the back burner. I took up photography to stay involved in a way. Lots of friends due to this sport.Editing
Yes I did, through lightroom I had made a preset that gave this image a classic yet gritty black and white finish. In my camera bag
2 Yongnuo Speedlights, Yongnuo Controler, extra batteries, cleaning cloths, Canon 18-120 mm, 50 mm, 70-300 mm lenses, compass, flashlight, card reader, cables, memory cards, aaa batteries.Feedback
Practice panning while hand holding your camera, things happen quickly so you always need to be on your toes. Track lighting at night poses big issues at most of our tracks here in Ontario so choose your spots where the lights are bright. Also the sunlight ducking in and out of the clouds keeps you adjusting your settings to compensate.
