When I visited Porto I had the 'honor' to meet Hurricane Leslie, the strongest cyclone of tropical origin to strike Portugal since 1842. My luck was that it caused this amazing blood-red evening sky. It was a big challenge to get my photos focussed since I had no tripod with me and because of the lightconditions the shutterspeed had to be very low (thus 'freezing' my body and holding my breath) ...Equipment
Nikon D610, Tokina 17-35, no tripod, no flash, n-grad filterInspiration
Obviously the whole phenomena of the blood-red sky Mother Nature presented me that evening and the intense reflections in the water. But besides this obvious beauty of nature the photo also reflects my feelings of Porto - 'the city that sang to me'. It was my first time there (first time Portugal even) and I loved every second of it, such amazing good vibes this city!Editing
Of course some in the RAW convertion (contrast, local contrast, saturation) but nothing besides that.In my camera bag
Same as mentioned above.Feedback
