I recently took a road trip from Delta Junction in Alaska's Interior to Juneau in Alaska's Southeast. The trip starts with a 550-mile drive to Haines, Alaska, and ends with a four-hour-plus ferry ride to Juneau. Part of the route runs through Canada, primarily the Yukon Territory. Shortly after passing through the Canadian border station in Beaver Creek, the Alaska Highway winds through this lovely scenery. On this trip, late September brought dark skies and gorgeous fall colors.
