Location
I took this photo during my trip around Isle of Skye, Scotland. It's amazing part of Europe. I love Scandinavia and northern countries with wild and pure, unspoiled nature. Scotland is definitely high on this list. It was really cloudy morning, as you can tell from the photo, and going back from morning location I stumbled upon these wonderful creatures. Some of them were walking on the road so I had to stop anyway. Others were taking a rest on a meadows. This one was very calm and was positioned perfectly for the shot.Time
Taken during morning after shooting on a nearby coastline location.Lighting
The light was perfect, it was perfectly diffused by heavy clouds.Equipment
Shot on Canon 80D, Tokina 11-16m handheld.Inspiration
I hoped to meet these wonderful animals during the trip and was very lucky for the nice and calm one to be positioned ideally for my shot.Editing
I don't like spending much time post-processing. My aim is to do as much photography work as possible in the field. I did some basic contrast and clarity adjustment and lowering highlights to make the sky more dramatic. In my camera bag
I really like Tokina 11-16 for it's wide angle view and sharp image. I also use Canon 17-55 for landscape and Canon 70-300L for wildlife shots. Sometimes I also cary Canon 100L macro lens, as I really like macro too.Feedback
Scotland, Isle of Skye, is well-known for the changeable weather. Sunny spells can quickly change into heavy rain and back again, even several times an hour. You can experience many beautiful and dramatic views with rainbow. Always be prepared to take on the rain coat.
