Mornings in late summer are sometimes drenched in dew. By late summer, prairie meadows are fully grown, as are the orb-weaving spiders that inhabit them. This is perfect for finding webs strung with crystalline pearls of water. Amazingly, the gossamer spider silk holds the weight of all that water, which shines in the early morning sunlight.
