Sny Magill is a quintessential trout stream in the driftless area of northeast Iowa.There is no lovelier place to be in the spring when the buds on the trees are newly broken. The baby leaves shine as the morning sun lights them up, and the dew on the fresh green grass sparkles. I walked up and down the creek to line up the the curves in a pleasing fashion and to place the bluff with its shadowed trees as a background for the highlighted trees.
