Location
I took this photo in my yard. Around mid December I feed the deer, birds, rabbits and what ever else comes along, just enough to help them survive the winter here in Northern Pennsylvania.Time
This was taken early evening when the deer show up on time every evening, waiting for me to dump the feed. I literally talk to them and can approach them from close as 5-1- yards. They know my voice and they know when it is dinner time.Lighting
The lighting is all natural as you can see, the sun is fading into the sunset, so there was no glare or bright lights distorting the picture.Equipment
Camera was a Cannon Rebel T1i, with a 55-250mm zoom lens, no flash, no tripod,Inspiration
I started taking photos of wild life when I was a teen. I used to get up in the early morning, get my camo on and hide by ponds and water ways to capture wildlife years ago. This picture was simply to document what I do to help wildlife survive the winter.Editing
There was no processing with this picture, this is the original capture. In my camera bag
Same as aboveFeedback
When it comes to wildlife, you have to be patient and persistent, wildlife have a mind of their own and are sometimes unpredictable, especially outside of feeding them.
