This year, i visited the tiny atoll of Kwajalein, of the Republic of Marshall Islands. Carrying a vivid history since World War II, a visit to this immensely beautiful and isolated stretch of land requires exclusive permission from the US Military that protects it. I shot this image (using tungsten white balance) on a clear, but humid night on the atoll's beloved Emon Beach,as a wonderful tree and a thoughtfully placed bench drench in the incandescent street lights adorning the shore.
