Location
This photo was taken as part of a photoworkshop through Robin Hills Farm, presented by Kate Zurenko and Michigan Avian Experience. This shot was taken in a studio setting.Time
Late morning/ Early afternoon time frameLighting
The lighting was set up to be on both sides of the subject, equally lighting each raptor for photo purposes.Equipment
Nikon D750, vertical battery grip, Sigma 150-500mm EX DG APO OS, Hoodman eyecup, black rapid sport strap.Inspiration
I was really into the raptor photography. Getting up close and personal with birds of prey and having the opportunity to photograph them really had me wanting to get the perfect shot. All in all, I took over 1600 photos that day of the four birds of prey that were present.Editing
Very light editing was used, a little highlight reduction and some clarity was added. In my camera bag
I always have my Nikon D750 and D500 in my bag at all times. I usually take my Sigma 50mm Art, Rokinon 14mm, and my Nikkor 60mm micro. Most of the time my long Sigma 150-500mm EX DG APO with me as well.Feedback
