Location
I real do not know anymore where I took this image. I think somewhere in a zoo, but are not sure about that.Time
Overday, between let say 11:00 and 16:00 hr. Perhaps the Exif-info will tell.Lighting
Sunny day.Equipment
At that time a Canon 5D1 with Canon 28-135mm lens. Out of hand.Inspiration
The colors.Editing
No post-processing. The only thing is I made the image square. In my camera bag
Today I use a Canon 6D2. The lenses I use today are IRIX 15mm, Canon 100-400 mk1, Sigma 105mm macro, Sigma 24-105mm ART, Canon 1.4 convertor, Soligor extension tubes, some self made pinhole and slit-pinhole lenses, macro front lens for my 24-105mm, pol filters, ND filters (incl 1000 ND), UV filters, etc.Feedback
Look what image proportions are the best to fit your composition. 3/4 is not always the best! The composition sometimes will be much stronger when u use square for instance. Also the looking direction of the animal makes difference. Sometimes it looks better when you mirror the image. That phenemon depends of the usual direction people read. Thry it.
