Behind The Lens

Location

I took this Photo in a Forest, during a photoworkshop i gave with Tanja Brandt.

Time

Is was about 5pm

Lighting

I always use the available light and love the twighlight in the forest, even if i need an ISO 1600

Equipment

I use the canon EOS 1DX with a Sigma 2,8/120-300mm I never use a tripod, only freehand. No other equipment used

Inspiration

We wanted to take a double Portrait and the bigger one donÂ´s like an other model by his side. For that the "evil eyes" i took in that moment

Editing

most of my pictures are only a little bit optimized by photoshop, contrast, sharpness and cutting a little bit.

In my camera bag

i love my EOS 1DX with the 2,8/70-200mm, because i normally take actionphotos of Dogs. No more equipment is necessary.

Feedback

DonÂ´t concentrate yourselv on the settings during taking the photos, concentrate on the motive, to catch the "magic moment". You have often only one chance!
