Location
This photo was taken in the fresh markets in Hoi An, Vietnam.Time
The markets are at their busiest early in the morning, so we were out shooting at around 9am to catch all the action.Lighting

My aim was to try and capture the character of the markets, when I cam across this vegetable seller I thought she epitomised al the workers and how tough it is to make a living growing and selling fresh produce.Editing
I decided to process in black and white as I thought it would accentuate the toughness and the dramaIn my camera bag
I carry three cameras, my trusty Canon 5Dmkiii, recently I added a mirrorless camera to use for street photography - Fuji Xt2 and I a GoPro Hero 4. To compliment these bodies I have the Canon 24-105L f4 and my favourite lens the Canon 70-200L f2.8 (its the sharpest lens I have ever used) For the Fuji I just have the kit ens 18-55. Apart from this hardware I have a Benro carbon fibre tripod and recently I have started experimenting with long exposures s I have iveted in the Nisi filter system.Feedback
My adviice is get to the markets early, walk around for awhile before you start shooting so people get accustomed to you being there, buy some produce, start up conversations and then start shooting.
