Biblical. Psalms 148:3
Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
Finally after 5 years of chasing this composition Church with Full Moon without clouds and at a leveled ground without obstacles at the correct day of the year at that angle on that moment... and most important, at the perfect distance, otherwise church is too small or too large depending on camera distance location.

About lighting, the photo is self-explanatory. During the blue hour at moonrise, there was enough ambient light to light the foreground.Equipment
Shot with Canon 6D. Tamron 150-600 at 600. As the moon moves significantly at 600mm, I used a monopod for easy movement while chasing the moon for perfect positioning the circle behind the church.Inspiration
I always like to combine to subject making a story of the photo.Editing
