Behind The Lens
Location
This was taken in my backyard, after moving to a new state. I had a quite a few big life changes, anf had just recently taken up photography as a hobby. This one is from the first batch of trying to photograph hummingbirds.Time
I believe it was late afternoon, since there was actually shade in the backyard.Lighting
Not really. I didn't quite understand how lighting affected the picture at the time.Equipment
Canon Rebel T5 and the 75-300mm lensInspiration
I was honestly just getting in some practice, and just starting to learn how to use the camera I have.Editing
I did crop, but not a lot of post processing. At the time I still didn't know how to edit photos, and I'm still learning that.In my camera bag
Depends on what I'm doing, but I always have my 50mm lens on me now.Feedback
Build up trust with your hummers first, so they don't fly off when you try to get close. Move slow, and stand still.
