Very nice, love this foreground colors, and the clouds around the moon... I see focal length 25mm? Then it must be a composite?

Just seen this in ViewBug's feature "The moon as you've never seen it before". To my mind, this is the best picture of all of them & definitely the best moon picture I've ever seen. Absolutely stunning!

Behind The Lens

Location

this amazing photo i shot this in Koh Samui Thailand.

Time

this was with the super moon on 14.11.2016 – 18:15

Lighting

just available light in night and hdr.

Equipment

i use my canon 5d Mark 3 with the canon Ef 16-35mm f/2.8 2USM Lens by 25mm on a tripod and my zoom lens with the extender 1.4

Inspiration

everybody talk about the super moon and i think before how i can shoot this and get the best result. i just hope that we get a clear sky.

Editing

the post processing is with lightroom and photoshop and aurora HDR.

In my camera bag

in my camerabag i have always a 5d mark 3 and a lens with 16-35 mm, 100-400mm, 100mm macro lens, 24-70mm lens and one flash.

Feedback

i have a dream from very big super moon and think before, what i want to shot. i know this is not possible in one photo so i dissident to make 2 photos and crossed this together. both photos make the same time and same places. one was in zoom and one in 25 mm.
