Afternoon shootLighting
This was part of my "white on white" series. The background was while seamless. I had two strobes in shoot through umbrellas pointed at the background to blow it out. Then I had two 8' V-flats on either side of the camera to bounce all that light back at the model. I intentional had Stefanie dressed in all white to see if we could create separation between her while clothing and white background.Equipment
The camera was a Nikon D810 with a Sigma 50mm f1.4 art lensInspiration
I saw some photos online using the umbrellas and the v flats and loved that bright soft light. I decided to take it a step further and make it all whiteEditing
Just some skin retouching to smooth it outIn my camera bag
No such thing. I determine what equipment I need for every shoot, and it always changes. I can say that the Sigma 24-105 f/4 lens is my goto lens. I always make sure I have that lens with me, and for some shoots it's the only lens I use all day!Feedback
