I have take this photo on the flowerbed in my yard in the town Dobropillya Donetsk region Ukraine. It was after the summer rain.Time
It was created by ?15-th of ?June ?2016 ??13:14:06 ( EXIF data :-) )Lighting
I want to make a creative macro shot of rose flower with rain due and use the day light to have a natural three-dimensional image. The ISO, aperture and shutter speed was set in manual mode.Equipment
I use the Nikon D5100 camera with manual macro rings and Helios 44-2 2/58 lens with adaptor m42/Nikon F. To take a focus I use the Live View mode.Inspiration
I passed rain and I've been wanting to take pictures of dew after the rain. I took my camera, connect the macro rings and the lens and went out the hause. There I saw the flowers and thought that from this perspective they should look unusual. For a while I even used this photo as the wallpaper on my computer.Editing
Not any post-processing done. I use the camera jpeg file.In my camera bag
I have not many equipment. So usually I use the Nikon D5100 with lenses AF-S NIKKOR 18-55 mm 1:3.5-5.6 GII ED and Helios 44-2 2/58, anytime it may be the Panasonic Lumix DMC F-2. To have a shots indoor I use the Shanny SN910+ speedlight.Feedback
I like to shoot macro photos and portraits. In these genres is crucial staging light. When shooting portraits for shadows and highlights pattern on the face I usually use a pulse of light reflected from the walls or ceiling in the room. Also sometimes I use the white umbrella. Schemes light setting with a single source I studied on different channels of You Tube. Used aperture f/2.0-5.6 and focal length more than 50 mm. To shoot insects, spiders and small flowers I use the macro rings and speedlight flash on the camera using white reflector fixed on the flash to make the soft light directed side. Aperture f/8-11. To best result You may use the macro lens and special flash to macro photo, but I think the most recipe for success is the understanding of what you want to get a result. (Sorry for my bad English :-) )
