This is a great shot that represents how we feel about our Veterans and our country. I love this picture.

Location
This photo was taken on the next to the last leg of a 100 mile ride through Gardner Kansas.Time
The ride starts about noon and this shot was taken around 3pm.Lighting
This photo was captured with natural light.Equipment
This photo was taken with a Nikon D5100 and a 70-300mm lens; I was riding in the back of our Jeep with the window up and camera in hand while my husband drove out in front of the bikers.Inspiration
I have photographed the A Ride for the Wounded event for 2 years and am always looking for new and inventive ways to capture the event. While driving out in front of the bikers I noticed the flag waving between the 2 front riders and took the shot.Editing
Yes, I did a little cropping and removed an overhead wire on the left. I also increased the vibrancy and clarity. In my camera bag
It really depends on the type of shoot. For this event I brought the 70-300mm as well as my 18-140mm lens.Feedback
Number one is safety, stay well ahead of the riders. Use a long lens and keep the shutter speed high. Be patient, being in the back of a vehicle is very bumpy so you will get more throw away shots than keepers!
